WF: Reports to Manage Item Lifecycle

Reports that should be run regularly to manage your items 

Circulation reports

  • Manage charged (checked out) items
  • Holds - Contact the WYLD Office for help setting up these reports.
    • Hold pickup notices  
    • Clean Hold shelf report OR Manage Hold Shelf Wizard
    • Monitor the library's On Shelf Items wizard (items needed to fulfill holds)
    • Purchase Alert (optional)
  • Additional maintenance
    • Regularly review the library's In Transit items using the transit wizard

                    

Bibliographic reports 

  • Missing and Lost items lists (use Analytics or WorkFlows report 'list bibliography' reports
  • Remove Discards – Contact the WYLD Office for help with this report.

 

Ongoing maintenance by the WYLD office includes:  

  • Removal of paid bill records over seven fiscal years old
  • Removal of CANCELLED and FILLED holds over three months old
  • Removal of charge history records over three years old
