Rearranging Browse Categories
How to change the order of appearance for browse categories or sub-categories. Browse categories can be managed in the Browse Category Group settings
- To access these settings click on the hamburger menu
- Select Aspen Administration
- Under Local Catalog Enrichment click Browse Category Groups
- Click the Edit button
- This page will show all of the main browse categories currently displaying on your catalog
- Use the up and down arrows next to the browse category titles to drag and drop categories in the order you want
- Save changes
- This should be an immediate change. Click the catalog home page to view new browse category order
Edit Browse Category Contents
If the browse category results are not looking as you would like them to, or they need to be updated, you can edit exist browse categories that were created with search results.
Note: As previously stated to update a browse category made from a list you will need to edit the list.
- Navigate to the browse category you wish to edit
- Click on the text link above the cover images
- You should now see the search results with the filters that were used to create this browse category. From here you can adjust any of the search filters until you have the desired results
- When finished click on Search Tools at the top of the search results
- Choose Add to Browse
- Click Update Existing
- Select the browse category you wish to update from the drop down list
- Click update Category. These changes go into effect immediately
